Materials for the Napkin Twirl
All you need for this project is a pack of green paper napkins (I love the vibrant football field ones from Dollar Tree!) and one simple drinking glass you already have in your kitchen. I prefer using a standard water glass or a wine glass with a wide rim to get that perfect fan effect.
How to Make a DIY Football Napkin Twirl
The secret to this hack is all in the spin! Unlike traditional folding, we are going to use the side of the glass to create a fan textured look.
Step 1: Place a stack of football field napkins on a hard surface like a table or kitchen counter.
Step 2: Hold the glass and press the side of the glass down on the napkin stack and gently spin the glass.
Step 3: Carefully lift the glass, and you will see the napkins have “twirled” into a beautiful, circular fan shape.
