DIY Candy Decoration – Stay-at-Home

Sharing is caring!

Here is another one of my birthday party decorations from my segment @WBAL Sunday morning showing how to use things you may already have around your house. Even with the Stay-in-Place order, you can still have a fun and festive birthday celebration.

Here DIY candy decoration you can make from a cereal box, paper plate, fruit cups, tissue, colorful paper/cellophane and pieces of decorative paper or craft foam.

Glue white paper onto a cereal box.

Draw circles onto craft foam or colored paper.

Glue them onto the cereal box so they look like candy buttons.

Cutout shape to fit on a paper plate to make the lolipop face.

Glue them onto the paper place and add eyes and a mouth.

Glue a  paper tube to the top of the box as shown.

Fill fruit cup containers with colorful tissue paper to make gumdrop feet.

Wrap cellophane or tissue around the head, make candy bar arms and attach everything together with hot glue gun or craft glue.
