Decorative Planter
Here is a fun way to repurpose a plain terracotta planter and turn it into a whimsical decorative gift container. Apply paint with a sponge and accent it with natural elements such as small stones, twine or glass floral beads.
Cut out a flower from recycled gift wrap or a magazine and glue it to reused cardstock. Insert green tissue and the flower inside the planter for a creative alternative to a gift bag that is sure to bring a smile.
I love giving this gift container to someone who loves plants because they can use it to for a beautiful flower after the gift is opened. This is a great example using part of the gift as the gift wrap.
