Recreate your Vacation with a Sandcastle Beach Decoration
Sandcastle Beach Display
If you are going to the beach this summer or just getting back from an ocean vacation, you can recreate the feeling of the beach with this beautiful sandcastle beach display. I love creating memory pieces from each vacation as I did with this vacation memory jar. You can easily make this fun summer craft! Gather sand and shells from your beach getaway and add them to the decoration. You can also buy some inexpensive starfish and shells as well as some flameless candles to brighten your sandcastle beach display.
Materials Used for the Sandcastle Beach Decoration
• Plastic Tray
• Sandcastle Mold
• Sand
• Assorted Shells, Starfish and Sea Glass
• White Glue
• Hot Glue Gun
• Flameless Candles
Instructions for the Sandcastle Beach Decoration
Paint the Mold White
Step 1: Paint the plastic sandcastle mold white.
Paint the mold with glue
Step 2: Mix white glue with a small amount of water to thin the glue and paint it on the castle.
Sprinke the mold with sand
Step 3: Sprinkle sand onto the glue painted castle and let dry. Repeat this process with the plastic tray.
Glue the Sandcastle to the Tray
Step 4: Using a hot glue gun, attach the sandcastle to the tray.
Glue Shells and Starfish to the Tray
Step 5: Glue shells, starfish and sea glass around the tray and add flameless candles. Cut out a triangle piece of paper glue it to a toothpick to make a flag. Attach it to the top of the castle.
Illuminate with Flameless Candles.
